Currie

Kids Insight Currie is registered with the Care Inspectorate as a Day Care of children service to provide a breakfast club and afterschool childcare service for a maximum of 100 children from P1-P7 across 2 local venues.

60 children in Currie Community Centre and 40 children in Nether Currie Primary School.

A Typical day at Kids Insight

We collect your child from the playground at Currie Primary School and walk them in pairs to the Currie Community Centre.

After washing hands we sit down to enjoy a filling snack together, then there is the opportunity to take part in various activities such as:

• Art & Crafts

• Board games

• Football

• Scooters

• Pool and Table Football

Play spaces are created to reflect the different interests of the children who attend each day. At Kids Insight we have a strong focus on child-led play.

Space will also be provided for any children who wish to do their homework.

Days

Kids Insight Currie runs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays during school term time. (Fridays are in our Nether Currie Primary School venue only)

Times

2.45pm-5.45pm for Primary 1-2 Mondays to Thursdays
3.15pm-5.45pm for Primary 3-7 Mondays to Thursdays

12 noon-5.30pm on Fridays (children are collected from school and accompanied to our Nether Currie Primary School venue)
